* A Trip Worth Taking *

SEEKING GOD, SHAPING LIVES, SERVING THE WORLD

Welcome

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to Union Chapel Baptist Church where our motto "A Trip Worth Taking" is indeed a reality. I am honored that you have taken the time to visit us today on the web, and we at Union Chapel would like for you to know that our doors are open to all.

Here at Union Chapel we believe God has created you to be great, and we would love to help you discover, through the word of God, the greatest that resides in you.

If you are searching for a church that is bible centered, caring, involved in community affairs and mission minded with programs for youth and adults, then visit us. You will find God’s presence in the worship service; friendly people; great singing; and opportunities for growth in your walk with God. Here at the Union Chapel Baptist Church, you will find a competent staff, and a holistic approach to our ministry. You will find a church actively involved in supporting community organizations, encouraging and supporting the education of her youths and adults and aggressively seeking the salvation of the lost and the restoration of those who have strayed.

Church Mission

Union Chapel’s mission is to inspire men and women to first seek ye the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, through worship; proclaiming the gospel to believers and non-believers; providing Christian education for our members and the community; providing ministries that meet the needs of our members and the community; and through preserving the church’s unique history.

Pastor's Greeting

I greet you in the marvelous, matchless and majestic name of Jesus the Christ. It is my distinct pleasure to extend sincere gratitude to my new family (Union Chapel Baptist Church) on calling me to serve as their new pastor. I believe when a church family calls a pastor they not only call him to the church but also to the community.

As we embark upon this next chapter in our lives together, let us remember that the same God who brought us together can keep us together if we keep Him first. Therefore, how do we keep Him first? I am glad you asked. Acts 2:41-47 speaks about how the first church soared high in five critical areas: Evangelism (2:41), Discipleship (2:42), Ministry (2:45), Fellowship (2:46), and Worship (2:47). As a result, if we perform effectively, efficiently, and eagerly in these areas, we will notice a transformation taking place not only in the local church but also in our community and at large.

Since there is much kingdom work to be done, allow me to put my pen down, roll up my sleeves and get busy. I love you all dearly. Come on Union Chapel and let us get after it!
